Brian Grant here - the very first ever DJ to work with Jim Brown
on Central Radio - It actually started up as BCR - Bootle Community
Radio on 92.5 FM 1981.
As you may be aware Jim Brown passed away in November 2017 and
the station has now been taken over by Tom Webb and Jim Lowe
- our friends from Concept Radio who have been broadcasting
on 100.8 FM from a new secret location using our original transmitter
equipment.
I'll be closing our Central Radio website down April 2018. The
service contract for the website ends this month unfortunately.
Thanks everyone for all your support over the years since we
began this amazing journey into Pirate Radio.
I've changed the contact details on the website if you need
to get in touch with the new management for details, reception
reports, requests etc until the website shuts down...
